Project Abstract
|
The objectives of
this project are to standardize lead processing for all of Dun and
Bradstreet, including the following sales groups: US Sales, Parsippany,
Waltham, Harris, Hoover’s, MDR, and SAS. Each of these groups has
similar as well as differentiated requirements, which this solution will
address. The Salesforce.com program will begin to standardize the way
the different offices define leads, prospects and customers. In
Salesforce.com most offices will use the leads as the first step in the sales
cycle. As leads are qualified, reps will convert the lead object to an
account object with the type of “Prospect”. An account is defined as
company with the same DUNS #. The Account object is related to one or more
contacts and one or more opportunities.
The leads
solution is designed with the understanding that the eLeads application
will be replaced by the business process management tool, Savvion, to
replace eLeads and other lead engines.
This tool was
selected because it can be configured to meet all the leads requirements as
well as can be modified to some degree by a business user. Savvion supports
the lead management process by importing, de-duping, and routing leads
prior to loading into Salesforce.com
|
|
Responsibility
|
· Work Flow and identification of various
dataslots/participants/adapters to be used.
· Developed modules from scratch.
· Perform coding in Java using APIs.
· Supported team in Savvion Portal Customization,
Clustering SMB Servers and custom Logging [Log 4J].
· Clustering of the Savvion servers – Pramati as the
Application server

Project Abstract
|
The
Oncology Medical Affairs Clinical Trial Program has been using a set of
separate excel spreadsheets to create and manage budgets, actual,
forecasts, project numbers, purchase orders and invoices. Significant
effort is expended to try to centralize all these spreadsheets and analyze
them. In addition, the manual nature of the maintenance is prone to
human error, which can lead to incorrect financial information. The
current process is far too tedious as there are an inordinate number of spreadsheets
and different managers and analysts maintain them. The Medical
Affairs Finance tool will provide a comprehensive, user friendly,
efficient software too that can be used to track, manage, and report, out
financial information (i.e. project numbers, purchase orders, invoices,
actual, budget and forecast) for the US Oncology Medical Affairs Clinical
Trial Program.
